Jordan Newman has wrestling prowess, having been a three-time NCAA Division-III wrestling champion and earning All-American honors in both Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling. Newman, who has trained under the watchful eyes of the Pettis brothers (Anthony & Sergio), Newman has grown through his young pro career thus far, all of which has come under the Bellator banner. Newman most recently fought at Bellator 297, scoring a first-round submission of Matthew Perry.

 

Imamshafi Aliev has his own rigorous training at the famous school of the late Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, alongside the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Usman Nurmagomedov, Umar Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev. Aliev honed his skills early on in his combat sports journey, having been a Combat Sambo world champion. Aliev made his Bellator debut in November 2022, scoring a doctor’s stoppage win over Sean Connor Fallon at Bellator 288.
