Long considered the GOAT of women’s MMA, the multi-time champion in several different promotions began her pro career back in 2005. She lost her debut and then went on an incredible 13-year unbeaten streak. Her fight vs. Gina Carano for the Strikeforce Women’s Featherweight title in 2009 was the 1st time a major promotion had women in a main event. In 2013, she defeated Marloes Coenen via 4th Rd. TKO to capture the Invicta FC Women’s Featherweight title. In 2017, she defeated Holly Holm via unanimous decision to win the UFC Women’s Featherweight title. In 2020, she defeated Julia Budd via 4th Rd. TKO to capture the Bellator Women’s Featherweight title.
