Yassin Najid is a taekwondo specialist, having competed in the Elite French Championships and finishing third. Najid lost his pro debut in 2014 but bounced back to win seven of his next eight, and he comes into tonight’s fight with a 9-4 record, which includes six submission wins. Najid is looking for a needed win, having won just one time in his last five fights. He most recently fought in November 2022, being submitted by Ibrahima Mane.
Daniele Miceli has trained himself to be an all-around expert, feeling strength in his boxing and wrestling, while also having experience in Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition. He comes into tonight’s bout with 11 victories, including seven stoppages – six of them by submission. His bout against Peter Queally at Bellator 299 in September ended in a no-contest after an illegal soccer kick.

Najid with a one-two, which Miceli answers with a low kick. The two trade in close. Miceli tries for a hip toss, and while he can’t get that, he does score a takedown on the second try. Najid looks for a guillotine, but Miceli, on the side of Najid’s guard, pressures Najid near the fence and puts Najid out with a Von Flue choke!
