Baris Adiguzel brings lightning quick, but controversial finish to claim PFL Europe Bantamweight Tournament title

Baris Adiguzel is a striker who is known not only for his accuracy, but also his explosive starts to fights. Eight of his nine wins have come via a finish, with all of them coming in the first round of his fights. “The Sniper” came in as an alternate fighter, filling in and finishing Julien Lopez in September to reach tonight’s final.

Dean Garnett, an 18-fight veteran, is a grappling specialist who has scored nine finishes. Garnett’s sole loss in the last eight years came when he and Lewis McGrillen went toe-to-toe in an epic battle in his PFL debut. Since then, he’s gone through Tuomas Grönvall and Jan Cieplowski to reach tonight’s final.

Garnett had a leg when the ref stepped in! He is up and he is NOT happy! The replay shows he had a hold of the ankle when being dropped, and Adiguzel was falling. This is going to be quite the debated finish…
